Chasing Mirror

$1,795.00

36” H x 11.5” W x 2.5” D

The Ouroboros is a symbol of a serpent eating its own tail; often interpreted as a symbol of regeneration. Combining an elegant design with this ancient symbolism, this sculptural mirror's frame depicts two snakes swallowing each other's tails.

Constructed out of poplar hardwood and shaped by hand, each frame is then finely sanded, leaving a tooled texture. Stripes are incised and sanded by hand before the final topcoat.
